Hello, I'm Simon Harrison, principal of KIWIBUILD. On this page, I would like to give you some background on myself and on my business.

I originate from New Zealand where I worked in catering, finance and telecoms. These may seem a far cry from being a builder, but most of what I did was either as an owner proprietor of a business or in a management position of a company..

Experiences & Qualifications

I qualified at the New Zealand Institute of Management in 1985 and in 1995 I was licensed as a restaurant General Manager, allowing me to work within that industry at a senior management level.

These early experiences have given me a sound basis in the management of a business, man management, financial awareness and the ability to bring a number of different elements together to produce a final product.

In 1997 I moved to Denmark. It was there that I decided to pursue a long held interest in building to a higher level. I undertook a training program which stated in October of that year. Philosophy

All of these are now a part of what KIWIBUILD can offer, from planning and managing a complete building project either indoors or out, to replacing a tap washer.

My philosophy is one of providing a good service with a quality product at a fair price. I have a bank of experienced tradesmen who I employ to assist with my projects. They know they are required to have the same outlook, and that if the quality of their work is not up to my own high standards, I will not use them.

Promise

We have all heard of, and some may have had, bad experiences with builders. KIWIBUILD's future, as well as mine & my family's, depends on being able to fulfill my own philosophy. If you should have any question or problem with any work KIWIBUILD undertakes for you, I promise you will always be able to talk to me about it. I will always answer my phone, your letters or e-mails.

I would really like all Kiwibuild's customers to be able to tell their friends and colleagues that they know a good builder. I hope you will.
